Marco Monti graduated in Economics in 2001 and in Law in 2005 from the Catholic University of Piacenza, where later he was assistant professor to the Tax Law Chair.
He served the Revenue Agency from 2004 to 2007, dealing with inspections on large enterprises. During the service he earned a Master in Tax Law at the University of Bologna and he attended courses at the High School of the Ministry of Economics and Finance.
Subsequently, he worked as tax consultant for one of the main Italian tax law firms.
He attended the Bar High School course preparatory to the enrollment in the Special Register of Attorneys admitted to patronage before Superior Courts.
He is enrolled in the Piacenza Association of Chartered Accountants since 2008, in the Piacenza Bar Association since 2009, in the Register of Legal Auditors since its establishment in 2012, in the Special Register of Attorneys admitted to patronage before the Court of Cassation and other Superior Courts since 2021, in the Register of corporate crisis managers since its establishment in 2023.
